Guatemala modernized its customs transit supervision by deploying a national Electronic Cargo Tracking System (ECTS) integrated with the DUCA customs declaration platform. Powered by smart GPS electronic seals, real-time cargo tracking, and intelligent risk management, the solution enables end-to-end cargo visibility, strengthens anti-smuggling enforcement, protects customs revenue, and improves cross-border trade efficiency.
