In recent years, China's economy has developed rapidly, and logistics and transportation have played an extremely important role in the process of economic development, and port transportation is an important part of it. At present, the port business is developing rapidly. Both inland ports and import and export ports put forward high requirements for the digitization of port business construction. Digital ports are the development trend of port construction. The most important part of port operations is the trailer, which is responsible for cargo handling. In order to achieve real-time monitoring of the trailer, it is necessary to introduce a video surveillance management system, which helps to improve the security of the port. In this paper, the basic application, requirements analysis, system architecture, design and implementation of the system are discussed in detail. At the same time, the key technologies used in system design and implementation are studied. The built system includes six parts: video monitoring module, video storage module, access identification module, query statistics module video detection module and system management module. In the construction process, the following work was mainly done: (1) RFID technology was introduced to realize automatic identification of port trailers. Each trailer will be equipped with an RFID tag. When the trailer enters the port, the reader will read the tag information. This determines whether the trailer is legal. If it is not legal, it will send an alarm message to inform the port staff. (2) In the video detection module, the image segmentation algorithm is designed. The algorithm uses the idea of region segmentation, which needs to complete two tasks. The first task is to determine whether the trailer is in the area where the trailer is not allowed. The second task is It is judged whether there is an illegal vehicle in the trailer area, so that it is possible to judge whether the trailer has a violation. (3) The video collected in the port video surveillance management system has a large capacity and a slow transmission speed. In order to improve the transmission efficiency of the video and reduce the storage space, the system uses a data compression algorithm to compress the video and then transmit it in the video transmission. Once completed, the video is decoded using RT21 CODEC software to support video storage and video playback, helping to increase efficiency. (4) Introduced cloud computing technology to realize dynamic access and sharing of massive video information, and also used virtualization technology to realize dynamic allocation of resources. In the above manner, the defects of the existing equipment capacity shortage and the limited computing capacity can be solved. At present, the video surveillance management system for trailers entering and leaving the port has been deployed to the port. After a period of operation, the system runs stably, which can meet the security monitoring needs of the port, and promotes the security management level of the port and reduces the operating cost. The system can be extended to the security operations of other ports, which has good practical and practical significance.
